About Zhi Xuan
I am a 2026/2027 entry UCL undergraduate student studying BSc Mathematics and Physics. Before that, I achieved 4 A* grades in A levels (including Mathematics and Further Mathematics), and 12 A* grades in IGCSE including A* in Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. I have prior experience tutoring GCSE Edexcel mathematics, 0606 CIE IGCSE Additional Mathematics and GCSE Edexcel chemistry online privately.

I place heavy emphasis on ensuring students understand the underlying concepts behind each topic, through clear explanations and simple worked examples. Students will then be prompted to challenge themselves and apply their knowledge and understanding in past paper questions. Typical lesson length can be between 1 hour and 2 hours. Having recently completed A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, I learnt the best way to pick up new topics and how to master them quickly and efficiently. My lessons are targeted to help students in year 10/11 preparing for IGCSE Mathematics and Additional Mathematics, and year 12/13 students preparing for AS/A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
