About Tanish
I am a UCL Clinical Neuroscience graduate with a strong academic background in biology and neuroscience. My passion for teaching comes from a deep love for science and a desire to help students build confidence in their understanding of complex topics. As a UCL Clinical Neuroscience graduate, I bring an in-depth understanding of biology and neuroscience to my lessons, helping students grasp complex concepts with clarity. My teaching approach is student-centred, adapting to individual learning styles to ensure engaging, interactive, and effective sessions. I break down difficult topics into simple, digestible steps, using visual aids, real-world examples, and active discussions to reinforce understanding. I also provide exam-focused strategies to help students apply their knowledge confidently. Each lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I can tailor the duration based on the student’s needs. My lessons are designed for GCSE, A-level, and university students, whether they need help with coursework, exam preparation, or a deeper understanding of neuroscience and biology. With years of experience in research and science communication, I aim to make learning both enjoyable and effective while building students’ confidence in the subject.
