About Junhwan
Hi, I'm Junhwan. I attended a British international school throughout my secondary school years, completing both the GCSE and A-Level, and I'm now preparing to study Economics at university.
Economics and Maths are my strongest subjects, and I've achieved recognition at a national level. My main awards include:
-Gold Award in the LSE Economics Challenge
-Shortlisted in the Cambridge Marshall Society Economics Essay Competition
-Gold Award in the UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge, with qualification for the British Mathematical Olympiad (BMO) Round 1
I consistently achieved the top grades in my year, and I hold offers from several leading universities, including UCL, the University of Warwick, NYU, McGill, HKU, and HKUST, along with a scholarship offer from the University of Toronto.

For Economics, I put a lot of emphasis on essay and answer technique, since that's where most marks are decided. Having learnt A-Level essay writing directly from a Pearson Edexcel Chief Examiner, I can show you exactly how to structure top-band responses, use diagrams where they earn marks, and build the evaluation examiners are looking for — as well as the common mistakes that quietly cost students grades.
For Maths, I put just as much emphasis on getting the fundamentals right, since that's what everything else is built on. I'll make sure the core concepts genuinely make sense first, then work through plenty of past papers with you until the exam-style questions feel second nature.
