About Tim
I graduated from UCLA in the winter of 2017 with a degree in History. Before finishing that degree, I was about 60% of the way through a Math degree. Life happens and I needed to be flexible.
After graduating, I started teaching special education classes under a waiver in California. Shortly after that, I began working on my credential. I am now in my 5th year of teaching students with special needs (time flies)!
During my time teaching, I have worked with students with various needs, including GATE students who I have worked with in small groups both in and out of classrooms. I am confident I can help you or your student succeed.

I tailor each session to my student's individual needs. My experience as a special education teacher gives me the ability to assess a student's areas of strength and weakness and create a plan that will help them succeed.
As well as academics, I integrate SEL into my lessons. My goal is to focus not only on your student's academic needs but to help them become the best version of themselves. During lessons, I focus on developing a growth mindset and how to set SMART goals.
During my career, I have worked with K-12 students as well as adult learners. I am ready to work with you or your student regardless of where you are in your learning career! I look forward to teaching you and growing together.
