About Jeslyn

Hello, I’m Jeslyn, a Computer Science undergraduate at UKM who is passionate about helping students learn confidently and reach their full potential.

My classes focus mainly on primary school students, where I aim to strengthen academic foundations while making learning enjoyable and less stressful. I believe every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods according to each student’s pace, understanding and learning style.

During lessons, I use simple explanations, guided practice, interactive activities and continuous encouragement to help students stay engaged and build confidence. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to develop independent learning habits and a positive attitude towards education.

I provide support for subjects including Mathematics, Bahasa Melayu, English and Tamil Language, as well as homework guidance and general study skills. I also have a strong Tamil academic background, having achieved A grades in both Tamil Language and Tamil Literature in SPM, which allows me to assist students who are more comfortable learning through Tamil explanations when needed.

Beyond academics, my leadership experiences as Assistant Commander of BSMM Det. 88D, Deputy President of the Social Entrepreneurship Club at UKM and involvement in various projects and programs have strengthened my communication, patience and ability to guide and mentor students effectively.

My lessons are suitable for primary school students of different abilities, whether they need extra support, revision, homework assistance or additional practice to build stronger understanding and confidence.

About the lesson

As a Computer Science undergraduate at UKM with leadership and mentoring experience, I enjoy helping young learners build confidence and develop a strong academic foundation in a supportive environment.

My teaching approach is patient, interactive and personalized according to each student’s learning pace. I believe primary education is important because strong fundamentals make future learning easier and more enjoyable. During lessons, I explain concepts step-by-step, use simple examples, guided exercises and encourage students to ask questions comfortably.

I also have a strong Tamil language background, having achieved A grades in both Tamil Language and Tamil Literature in SPM. This allows me to support students who are more comfortable learning through Tamil explanations when needed and help strengthen their understanding of the subject.

A typical lesson lasts between 60 to 90 minutes depending on the student’s age and needs. Lessons include concept explanations, practice activities, revision support and continuous encouragement to improve.

Beyond academics, my experience as Assistant Commander of BSMM Det. 88D, Deputy President of the Social Entrepreneurship Club at UKM and involvement in program leadership has strengthened my communication, patience and ability to guide students effectively.

My lessons are mainly for primary school students who need support in Mathematics, Tamil Language, homework guidance and building stronger study habits in an encouraging and comfortable learning environment
