About Abby
Hi, I’m Abby! I’m a second year student at Durham University studying a Masters in Chemistry. I’ve been a Chemistry tutor for a year and love helping students achieve their full potential. My sessions are largely led by you as the student, focusing on improving your confidence in those trickier topics!
Outside of work, I love music and am an avid baker :)

My teaching approach:
Start sessions with some simple warm-up questions about the chosen topic, building up to more challenging questions including applying the student’s knowledge to exam questions. I will ask which exam boards are applicable so sessions can be tailored to the student’s syllabus. Sessions are very flexible, allowing any topics they feel less confident in to be ironed out.

- Completed A-levels in 2024: good knowledge on exam technique and what current examiners expect
- Biology (A), Chemistry (A), Maths (A*)
