About Joshua
I’m Josh, a second year mechanical engineer student at the University of California Davis! I spent most of my time in class and doing course work however outside of class I enjoy outdoor activities like biking and skiing!
Most of my course work here at Davis is math such as calculus and linear algebra however I also do a lot of physics, chemistry, coding, aerodynamics… the list goes on and on. Although I don’t always understand the material taught in my classes and at time struggle a lot, I enjoy the every day challenge of learning new material.

What I teach is what I currently use every single day. As a student pursuing a bachelor in mechanical engineering I use math skills from basic arithmetic to multi variable calculus every day. I enjoy helping other understand the subjects I’m passionate about.
I often teach by example. Walking through problems with a student not only helps them see the steps taken to get to an answer but can also allow them to replicate and understand the steps taken.
