About Roopal
Hi, I'm Roopal! I graduated from the IBDP in May 2024 with a final score of 41 points and am currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Medical Biosciences at Imperial College London. I'm deeply intrigued by the mechanisms of the human body and would love to connect with anyone who shares a similar curiosity or interest. Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing badminton and crocheting. Inside the classroom, I focus on creating an environment that maximises student learning and understanding. As an extrovert, I aim to build a strong rapport with my students to understand their individual needs better. This allows me to tailor my lessons to cater to each student, using personalised resources such as handwritten notes and question banks.

My method of teaching is very personalised. During the IB, I have tried various learning strategies and understand how overwhelming it can be to manage so much in such a short period. Personally for me, breaking down complex concepts using analogies and acronyms, combined with an active rehearsal of these concepts, was the most effective approach for me. While I do acknowledge that everyone's approach towards learning might be different and keeping this in mind, I am willing to tailor lessons according to the student's needs inculcating activities and ways that might help one understand better.
