About Srihithaa
Hi!! My name is Srihithaa Vaidya and I have served as a tutor over the last four years. I was a part of my high schools peer tutoring club where I taught complex, course based topics. I also taught elementary and middle school students within my community where I focused on teaching much simpler topics. As mentioned, I focus on math and science and I am very excited to share my knowledge to my students!

My primary focus in tutoring is math, with a wide range of subjects from simple addition all the way to calculus. I have credible experience in math, specifically with my SAT score (800 in math), ACT score (35 in math), and AP exam (4 on AP calculus exam). I also have experience tutoring in scientific topics such as biology and chemistry, especially as I have taken AP classes, conducted research, and am also currently a science major in college. An important thing to note is that I believe in personalized, curriculum based learning. Whether it is to help with understanding a complex topic or to help with a simple topic, I adjust my teaching style for the maximum benefit of each student. Another important thing to note is that my lessons are very structured. Before meeting for a lesson, I ask that the student provides me with an overview of what they wish to learn during that session. I will prepare notes beforehand so the student can follow along. My lessons are also very interactive, meaning that the student has to respond much more than listening to a lecture. I also ask the student to summarize everything they learned at the end of the lesson to ensure concepts have gotten across.
