About Goi Sun
My name is Goi Sun, and I offer tutoring in Chemistry, Maths, and Computer Science (Python, Java, and Theory). I am currently studying Chemistry with Computing at the University of Bristol, having recently graduated from the IBDP with Higher Level qualifications in Chemistry, Maths, and Computer Science. This background helps me understand the demands of curricula like IB, A-Levels and GCSEs.
I love teaching. It comes from a desire to see students grow in confidence with their studies. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant, which has taught me patience and how to communicate clearly. To extend on this, I always try to be supportive in every session. I don’t just want students to memorise facts; I want them to think critically and solve problems on their own. Whether you are preparing for exams or trying to build a stronger foundation, I am here to help you reach your goals.

As an IB graduate currently studying Chemistry with Computing at the University of Bristol, I offer tutoring for GCSE, IB and A-Level students, in Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science. I focus on teaching through continuous questioning rather than just giving the answer. I find this method helps students build independent problem-solving skills and resilience. I can design custom exam-style questions based on the exam board, making sure each question challenges the student just enough to help them grow. Lessons usually last one hour, which allows for productive learning sessions.
