About FORTUNATE
I have loved solving different mathematics problems since my high school days in which I obtained a pass (B) in my final results. After high school, I decided to take a gap year and volunteered to offer lessons to some of my former high school students who were in lower grades and they were performing very well. Although I am a Social Work student, I ended up adding a mathematics course to my courses to keep myself engaged and gain more math skills and I am doing very well so I can safely say that I make a quality tutor.

I have a good understanding of multiple math problems such as algebra, geometrics, and basic arithmetic for all children in their high school. I also use excellent verbal communication skills to simplify complex topics so that they become easier for students to understand and improve their math skills. Exercising patience and positivity are other skills that I use in monitoring student progress and identifying areas needing improvement, helping with homework, and preparing them for tests.
In a typical lesson, students should expect that we do homework first then we identify and solve areas needing improvement and I give them practice questions to see if they would have understood, and lastly, we do some revision. To add up, I use past exam papers as a guide in preparing my students for exams and revisiting the textbooks from time to time. I use English when delivering my lessons.
