About Hifza
Hello! My name is HIfza Khan, and I am a dedicated and fully qualified tutor with a strong passion for helping every student reach their full potential. I hold a degree in Education and Special Needs from the University of Plymouth, a BSc (Hons) in Economics, and an MBA from Cardiff University. I have many years of experience supporting students across different levels, including KS1, KS2, and GCSE. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, personalised, and effective for every learner, no matter their starting point. I believe that every student can succeed with the right support, encouragement, and teaching approach. I take pride in creating a positive, calm, and focused learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow in confidence. As a qualified tutor with a degree in Education & Special Needs from the University of Plymouth, a BSc (Hons) in Economics, and an MBA from Cardiff University, I bring both expertise and dedication to every lesson. I have extensive experience working with students at KS1, KS2, and GCSE levels, supporting a wide range of learning styles and abilities. My teaching method is fully personalised and student-centred. I design each lesson around the individual’s unique needs, whether that’s closing knowledge gaps, building confidence, or preparing for exams. I use proven strategies and interactive techniques to make learning engaging and effective. My lessons combine clear explanations, practical examples, and plenty of opportunities to practise and ask questions. A typical session lasts around 60 minutes — long enough to cover key topics in depth, while keeping students focused and motivated. For younger learners, sessions can be adapted to shorter blocks if needed to suit their concentration span. I offer 1:1 lessons for children in primary school (KS1 & KS2) as well as secondary school students preparing for GCSEs. Whether your child needs regular homework help, targeted intervention, or intensive exam preparation, my goal is to help every student progress with confidence and achieve their full potential.
