About Hannah
Hello! I'm Hannah, and I am currently studying Music at the University of York. Having completed my GCSEs a few years ago, I know the pressure that students are under, and how stressful that can be - especially if you are struggling with studying, revision, and exams. I love tutoring, because I am able to give other students the academic support I wish I had, and share advice from someone who has gone through it! I aim to create a supportive learning environment, where students grow in their knowledge, study skills, and confidence.

I have worked as a tutor for three years, and pride myself on my friendly and encouraging approach, tailoring the support I offer to my student's needs and learning style. Having completed my GCSEs just under 5 years ago, I know just how stressful it can be. I worked hard to achieve seven grade 9s and three grade 8s at GCSE; I use the knowledge and study techniques I learnt then, and developed throughout my A-Level and University study, to influence my teaching. I typically teach secondary school students, and those working towards GCSEs; I usually teach in hour long slots. I am DBS checked, and record all of my lessons for safeguarding purposes.
