About Bella
Hi, I'm Bella, I'm 18 and I am going to study Combined Honours in Social Sciences at Durham University, with Spanish, Politics and Economics as my subjects. I got 12 Grade 9s at GCSE, and 44/45 on the IB Diploma Programme, including a 7 in SL Maths AA. I have a passion for languages and reading, and I love learning about new cultures. In my spare time I play netball both at a county and regional level. I love teaching as it allows me to motivate students and show them how subjects can be enjoyable and a lot easier than it may appear at first.

In my lessons, I focus on building both confidence within Maths and removing the fear that surrounds it. I aim to break down complex ideas into manageable steps, making sure each student feels supported no matter their starting point. Whether you're aiming for a top grade or just trying to get your head around the basics, I tailor each session to your goals. I also understand that maths can feel overwhelming at times, so I try to keep lessons engaging, encouraging questions and making space to go over anything more than once if needed.

Bella is an amazing spanish teacher. Not only did she transform my spanish grade but helped me gain confidence across the board in all aspects of spanish but particularly my speaking. Before I was nervous and lacking confidence with my speaking but she nurtured me and helped me gain all the knowledge I needed with patience and calmness. I would definitely recommend Bella as a Spanish teacher as she is young and fun, and truly committed to helping making a difference.
Bella is the older sister of one of my daughter's friends. She has been a fantastic tutor and role model to my daughter, building her confidence in both maths and Spanish and keeping her calm in the run up to her GCSEs.
