Hi there!
I'm Joe, I'm 25 and studying Sport development and fitness, this will be my second Undergraduate degree and I have already secured a first class Degree in Coaching and fitness! You may think that this only qualifies me as a specialist in P.E but in reality, my coaching experience allows me to be a specialist tutor in any subject I have a strong academic understanding of. This includes Psychology and neurochemistry, Biology (Human), Biology (plants), Physics, English literature, English language, and music! In my educational career, I achieved high marks in 12 GCSEs, passed 6 AS levels and 3 A2 equivalent.
My teaching style sits entirely within a humanistic, or, 'Holistic' approach, meaning that I consider a student's life as a whole and adjust my teaching to suit. I have experience working with ASD and ADHD brains and can help you to adjust your lifestyle to be more organised even with these, or any other, Neurodevelopmental disorder. If you are giftedand talented, I also recognise this as a specialeducational need and will adjust my approach to ensure that your relationship with education remains positive and productive in the long term, while also helping you to fulfil that potential!
