About Tyler
I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BA in Chemistry, passionate about helping students dive deep into the world of materials and polymers. My teaching approach in Chemistry is relaxed, clear, and focused on real-world applications. I believe students learn best when they can connect theory to practical use. That’s why I emphasize instrumental analysis and hands-on understanding. From analytical chemistry to spectroscopy (NMR, IR, UV-Vis), I break down complex topics into simple parts. I also teach chromatography, quantitative analysis, and reaction mechanisms with a focus on how these methods are used in research and industry. My sessions often include lab-based examples and case studies. This helps students relate textbook content to what they actually do in the lab. Whether it’s separating compounds or understanding absorption spectra, I make sure students understand the ‘why’ behind every technique.
