About Hector
I am currently studying Law and Engineering at the Monash University. With a strong passion for sports, gaming, and the world, I bring a dynamic and enthusiastic approach to tutoring, utilising my own experiences and upbringing, being bilingual in French and English, to improve my teaching methods.
At high school level, I studied the International Baccalaureate (IB) for which I achieved 7/7 in Physics SL and Chemistry SL and 6/7 in French HL and History HL.

I am looking to tutor high school students completing VCE or IB. I believe in utilising memorisation as well as problem-solving to help your student achieve their goals. Utilising the students own interests to keep the lessons fun and refreshing, my techniques include creating personalised flashcards and quizzes to help with the memorisation of key concepts whilst also focusing on dissecting the student’s own questions from tests and assignments to ensure a deeper understanding of the material. With lessons typically lasting between 1 to 2 hours, this allows us to cover material thoroughly whilst keeping the student engaged.

Deadly! Hector has been an excellent Chemistry and Physics tutor! His ability to to explain topics simply and clearly, as well as his personable nature, makes selecting him as a tutor a no brainer! Thanks for getting us through Units 3 &4.
- Bodhi is very good at applying the equations and theories taught to him in class. However, he struggles at attempting questions, something which I have attempted to ameliorate.Hector's response :
