Vikram: A guitar teacher for beginners. I have taught over 20 students, primarily children from the ages of 5-12 and adults too, both online and in-person. I start from the basics but I make it fun!

About Vikram
I have had a deep passion for music and guitars since I was a child. I know how it feels to hear something and wanting to play it yourself, and the joy you can get from that. Since I am self-taught, I know exactly what a beginner needs and how I can make them get to where they want to be because I have been in the same shoes.
The children that I have taught have continued to play guitar and have grown to love the instrument, all because of the fun lesson environment I create and personal bond I have with them. I absolutely love teaching children because they are curious and expressive, two skills crucial to learning and getting better at guitar. I will make sure the student loves every lesson they take and will want to learn more every time.

I am a seasoned guitar player and have been part of several bands. I am a self-taught guitarist with a deep devotion for music. Although I do not have any qualifications in guitar or music, I have taught over 20 students (children aged 5-12) as part of an organization before and have taken many private lessons as well.
I am experienced in taking both virtual and in-person lessons. I have the most experience with beginners or someone who has never held a guitar before. A typical lesson length would be an hour.
I believe in a fun lesson environment where I teach what the student wants to learn but get them there by building strong foundations. I focus on building a personal connection with the student so that they feel comfortable and remain more interested and engaged in the lesson. Flat £20 for both virtual and in-person classes. In-person classes will be subject to a travel charge depending on how far I need to travel, but will only cover travel, nothing extra :)
