About Oriol

I combine my work as a teacher with that of a violinist and sound and stage creator.

My way of understanding music is based on thinking of it as a message to be transmitted, as a story to be told to the public. With the student we will work from the sonority and sensitivity of the violin to the narrative that each one builds with the instrument.

In my career, I have investigated the relationship between the violin and the theater, creating sound atmospheres for companies such as Cía Katsuko, Cía Avestruz or Cía En Bucle, among others.

I think that the mixture of a classical pedagogy based on methods like Suzuki and Rolland combines perfectly with a pedagogy like Feldenkrais or the Release Technique in which attention is paid to the body as the center of resonance of the instrument.

Regarding academic training, I have the following Bachelor's and Master's degrees:

- Master's Degree in Creation from ESADCyL (2022)

- Violin by the Lillo Cánovas Conservatory (2015)

- Interpretation by ESAD Murcia (2019)

- Direction and dramaturgy by ESAD Murcia (2021) with honors (note 9.7) in the Final Study Project

Regarding complementary training, I have trained with professionals such as Claudia Castellucci (Italy, 2021), Ilze Zirina (Poland, 2018), Carlos Tuñón (Madrid, 2022), Antón Valén (Murcia, 2018), among others.

About the lesson

Six years of experience teaching violin, music and theater.

In my work as a teacher I combine work as a private teacher with work done in institutions such as:

- Creation seminar at the University of Valencia
- Workshop on the corporality of music in Sępólno Krajeńskie (Poland)
- ERASMUS + project on sensitivities in Los Urrutias (Murcia)

Connoisseur of pedagogical methods such as Feldenkrais, Suzuki, Rolland, and Realese Technique applied to the violin.

My pedagogical system is based on understanding the organicity of the movement of the body to increase musicality with the violin. A practice based on listening and breathing to generate an organic process.

Each student will evolve at a different pace and my work as a teacher is based on adapting and promoting the growth of each musician.
