About Rocky James
-I am a well-rounded Music Education student with a focus on vocal and musical theatre.
-I have been in multiple choral ensembles ranging in various difficulties, some are award-winning.
-I have been a part of numerous regional musical theatre productions around the Bay Area starring in both supporting lead roles and ensemble.
-I have taught in three different school districts including Hayward, Fremont, and Redwood City Unified School Districts as both a music teacher and choreographer.

The structure is the largest focus in my classes. We will have a certain agenda that we repeat every single day but that also includes a different factor at the end to change things up. For example, we will start with vocal warm-ups first and foremost and depending on what I will be teaching you we might move on to sight-reading exercises or focusing on different parts of your voice, in particular, you would like to work on or what I feel you need to work on most at the moment. I hope to be more than just a tutor to you. I hope to be your mentor. Voice is the main focus but we will certainly touch on more things that help your voice. For instance, confidence and purpose.
