About Sàvio

I am a professionally trained singer and actor with a strong background in opera and musical theater, and for many years I have worked closely with actors from different performance backgrounds. I understand the real vocal demands of acting, not only singing, but also projecting the voice safely during intense, dramatic scenes. As an actor myself, I know how easily the voice can become strained when emotion, text, and physical action collide on stage. That is why my teaching focuses on healthy vocal projection, stamina, and efficiency, allowing actors to perform with power without pain or vocal fatigue. In my classes, I combine classical vocal technique with practical tools adapted to the actor’s daily work. I help performers expand their vocal range, improve clarity and projection in spoken scenes, and develop warm-up routines that protect the voice during rehearsals and long performance runs. My work is especially designed for actors who may or may not sing, but who need a reliable, flexible voice that supports their acting at the highest level. The goal is simple: a voice that serves the performance strong, free, and sustainable.

About the lesson

Have you ever felt pain, strain, or complete vocal exhaustion after a highly dramatic scene? Have you struggled to project your voice in rehearsal, lost stamina during long runs, or felt insecure when a role suddenly requires singing?

These lessons are designed specifically for actors who want to develop a reliable, healthy, and powerful voice, whether they sing on stage or not.
I combine my expertise in opera and musical theatre singing with many years of professional work alongside actors, as well as my own background as an actor. This allows me to teach voice in a way that fully respects the real demands of acting: emotional intensity, long rehearsals, repeated performances, and spoken scenes that still require vocal projection and control.

In these classes, you will learn how to:

Project your voice clearly and safely in spoken scenes
Increase vocal range and freedom for roles that include singing
Build vocal stamina for long rehearsals and performances
Warm up efficiently so your voice doesn’t collapse or hurt
Perform dramatic scenes without tension, pain, or vocal burnout

This work is actor-centered, practical, and adaptable. Whether you are a primary actor who needs to sing, or an actor who wants to speak powerfully without pain, these lessons give you tools you can immediately apply on stage.

But after just a few lessons, things started clicking in a way they never did before. He explains technique in a way that actually makes sense. It’s not just ‘support more’ or ‘open your throat’ (which, let’s be real, never helped me). He gives real, practical things to try, and suddenly, stuff that felt impossible starts working. I also love that he never makes you feel dumb for struggling with something. He’s super patient and knows exactly how to get you to that ‘aha!’ moment... Now, I’m hitting notes I used to avoid, my voice feels way more stable... If you’re on the fence about taking lessons, just do it. Seriously.
