About Andy
After graduating from secondary school with a Premier’s award for high achievement in English, I went on to study a double degree at Monash University. After a change of heart, I now study a Bachelor of Biomedicine at Swinburne University. Previously for many years I ran my own tutoring business and have a 6 year background working in hospital pharmacy specialising in IVF. I have a passion for helping others and am willing to work with you no matter what your needs are.

When teaching English I like to utilise many different methodologies that enhance and makes the learning process as efficient snd effective as possible. I like to utilise a “Flipped Classroom” model where primary educational materials are studied by the students at home and, then, worked on in the classroom. The benefits of this is that we can optimise time in class by dedicating it, for example, to meet the special needs of each individual student, develop cooperative projects or work on specific tasks. Classes are completely customisable to what you need and are never “one size fits all”. Upon our first lesson, we will develop a unique action plan to help you achieve your goals.

If you want experience, look no further. I can't say enough about Andy's patient & gentle manner!
Andy was my tutor for 8 months and honestly was my saving grace. I had only been in Australia for 5 months and my English was terrible, but now I have a new found confidence. He is very hands on and extremely patient. Even though our lessons were over Skype, I still felt like Andy was being thorough and was experienced. If you are looking for someone who will listen and is experienced, Andy is the tutor you should choose.
