About Giulia
I am an artist, graduating as a teacher within the field. No technique is too difficult to learn, and the same is true with watercolor! With my mediation you will learn not only the technique per se, but also various materials that can be used to create effects on ink, how to use it to your advantage and experiment with various powers within the watercolor!

Studying Visual Arts I prepare to reach all kinds of audiences; no matter your age or your level of knowledge. The main focus of my production as an artist is painting the human figure, but I know and have used techniques for painting scenery and landscapes. Using 300-weight paper, a watercolor kit (not too many colors, or being professional) and proper brushes (at first I recommend size 10 and 12 soft brushes) you will learn how to make a smooth color layer at work; how to create gradients, use ink on wet paper, on dry paper. Use sponges, salt and other materials to create different textures in your final work. The watercolor allows for ample experimentation space! Lessons would take place gradually, starting at basics (getting to know the ink, learning to use pigment, smooth color, gradient, overlap, layers) and moving on to a more informed experimentation (using sponges, tissues, salt, etc.).
