About Mina
Fun Fact: The best compliment I have ever received is that I have the patience of an angel! Hi, my name is Mina, and I am a university student currently studying Biology, with a strong academic foundation in science, mathematics, and language arts. In high school, I completed several Advanced Placement courses, including AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, AP Spanish, AP Government, AP Literature, and AP Language, and I have also successfully completed Calculus II at the university level. I had a 4.0 GPA and 4.73 weighted GPA. I am most comfortable tutoring elementary, middle school, and high school students. My academic background allows me to support students across a wide range of subjects, including biology, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, reading comprehension, writing, and academic language skills. I focus on building strong understanding through clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and patient, individualized guidance. As a tutor, I value professionalism, preparation, and clear communication. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and developing their academic abilities. I adapt each lesson to the student’s age, level, and learning goals, ensuring that instruction is both effective and engaging. I am reliable, organized, and genuinely invested in my students’ progress. My goal is to help students strengthen their academic foundations, improve performance, and develop confidence and effective learning habits that will benefit them long term.
