About Marie

I’ve always loved teaching! Although I’m American I learned the english language as a young adult due to my family relocations around the world. I know what it feels to want to sound like a native and the frustration that comes with it. This is why I’ve dedicated my life in making this possible for other English as a Second Language students. I offer intellectual courses that range from Beginner up to Advanced level. You will be provided with a wide range of teaching material. My goal is to inspire you in every lesson to speak confidently and fluently while having fun.

About the lesson

I teach by using the Berlitz Language full immersion methodology which has been proven over and over to be the best at getting the quickest long-lasting results. My motto is “the students come first” that’s why my teaching method is to first find out what my students want and need to learn. I want to know if they are preparing for exams, I focus on the skills needed to pass those exams. I like to get to know my students well and find out what their interests are so that I can tailor-made all my lessons. I use a variety of resources on different topics and I demonstrate strategies that students can use to learn outside lesson times. I provide practice in all 4 skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as grammar and vocabulary. Probably the most important thing for me is to be able to help students gain in confidence in using English in their daily lives, sound like a native, and feel free to achieve their personal goals.
