About Shrey
I am currently an A Level student at Westminster School, a top performing school in the UK. I have achieved full marks in the UKMT Intermediate and Senior Maths Challenges multiple times, earned medals in the British Mathematical Olympiad and other national competitions, and was awarded a Distinction in BMO2, ranking top 12 nationally. I also achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics and an A in Additional Mathematics.
I am passionate about showing students that maths is built on patterns and logical structure. Once you see the underlying structure, even difficult topics begin to feel natural and manageable.
In my teaching, I encourage questions and focus on ensuring students understand why something works, rather than simply memorising methods. My aim is for students not only to solve problems, but to feel that they could have derived the solution themselves. Above all, I prioritise building confidence, because confidence is what ultimately drives both excellent results and a lasting appreciation for mathematics.

Having previously taught at Mathnasium and now studying as an A-Level student at Westminster School, I have developed a strong understanding of different teaching approaches. At Mathnasium, where I worked closely with students of all ages and abilities, I learned how to quickly identify learning gaps, adapt explanations to suit different learning styles, and break complex concepts into manageable, confidence-building steps. As a student at Westminster School, I am immersed in a rigorous academic environment, which has strengthened both my subject knowledge and my understanding of what it takes to succeed. I aim to bring that same high standard to my tutoring, while maintaining a positive, supportive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to ask questions and grow in confidence.
