I am an Economics undergraduate degree holder from The University of British Columbia with a background in Economics and accounting subject matter starting from Cambridge IGCSE. I am also currently an active trader so the fundamental analysis needed for that contributes to my knowledge of the subject as well.

I root my method in the personality of the people I am teaching as far as possible. I make efforts to make assessments of weaknesses, strengths, fears and general personality traits that may indicate how best to put across the necessary subject matter. I also believe practice is a great tool to build confidence in what is being learned and taught so I believe in giving work to practice, as well as annotated grading to indicate areas of error.

Deadly! Michelle was an amazing tutor. I was really struggling with economics and she gave me confidence to feel like together, we could tackle the material... and we did! I ended up passing my university-level macroeconomics course with 75% which was a good grade for me given how much I was struggling with the material (not to mention this is all during COVID when everything was turned upside down in our lives...). Thank you Michelle for being an amazing and supportive tutor!
