About Lava

I am a native speaker with great skills in writing academic and scientific texts in Russian and Ukrainian.

I have experience offering one-to-one Russian lessons for beginner and intermediate levels.

I offer well-structured, easy-to-follow lessons.

About the lesson

Within 10 online lessons, my students are ready to have long conversations in Russian!:)

My methods are based on an individualized approach. I have an open manner and aim to conduct my class through discussions and interactive tasks. The most important thing is that the lesson should not be boring and that you stay strongly motivated.

Deadly! Lava is a really good tutor who works at a fantastic pace for me. She prepares all sorts of resources which are easy to use in lesson and at home. With Lava you are able to speak a good deal of Russian quite quickly - which is the perfect way to learn! Спасибо!

I think Alexander Pushkin who was a Russian poet. I believe he was a true master of the Russian language

I love idioms and "Проще сказать, чем сделать / Ве easier said than done " is the favourite one.
Why does speaking this language matter to you?
Russian is the language of many classic novels. I believe that this strong language
What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?
If you know why you want to learn this language then it will be easier. Motivation is the key factor here. However, the pronunciation of some letters can be really challenging.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.
If we want to carefully disagree we would say 'Да нет, наверное', which is 'Yes no, probably'
How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?
I think reading, rather than travelling, is one of the best ways how to make knowledge of the language stronger and similar to native.
What makes you a Superprof in language?
I am dedicated to teaching languages and I believe that individual approach is the main and only format which can help my students to succeed in their learnings.
