About Linda
An ESL teacher since 1987, I've taught at private language schools, colleges and universities in Japan and the United States. I received my Master of Science in Education TESOL from Temple University Japan in 1994. I've also published 7 ESL textbooks with the prestigious University of Michigan press.

Our lessons will focus on the vocabulary and critical thinking skills you need to succeed in your college course work. A typical class will briefly review our last lesson, and then move on to new material. Each lesson will contain a reading with new vocabulary, exercises to help you learn the roots, prefixes and suffixes which make up English words, and activities in which you practice using the new vocabulary. There will be written activities and conversation in each lesson. You will have fun as you learn!
