About Ivy
I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Chemistry and Molecular Physics, dedicated to helping high school students succeed in IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry. I explain topics like Atomic Structure, Stoichiometry, and Organic Chemistry in a structured way that builds understanding step by step. My sessions include practical demonstrations that show chemical reactions in action. I reinforce concepts with exam-style questions, helping students learn what examiners look for. I focus on strengthening both foundational knowledge and problem-solving skills. Past paper practice is central to my approach, and I help students analyze their mistakes to improve quickly. My Chemistry teaching approach blends theory, strategy, and consistent practice for meaningful progress. Over time, they learn to break down long, complex questions with ease. I make sure learners understand common mistakes and how to avoid them.
