About Felix

I have a genuine passion for Latin and have always loved exploring both its precision and its beauty. At GCSE level I achieved a grade 9, dropping only four marks in total across all my papers, including an exceptional score of 99 out of 100 in the translation component. This experience not only reflects my dedication and skill in the subject but also gives me a clear understanding of the techniques and approaches that lead to success. I enjoy sharing this enthusiasm with others, helping students build confidence in their own abilities while showing them how rewarding Latin can be.

About the lesson

My teaching style for Latin is clear, structured, and always adapted to the needs of each student. I place great importance on building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and syntax, while also encouraging active engagement through reading, translation, and even simple composition. Whether a student is preparing for exams, aiming to strengthen their comprehension, or learning purely out of interest, I adjust my approach to match their goals and pace. Above all, I strive to make Latin both accessible and rewarding, so that students not only make progress but also develop a genuine appreciation for the language and its lasting influence.
