I’m now predicted an A* in A level maths and love the challenges presented by maths but a few years back that was not the case. I want to help students to not only achieve their academic goals but to learn to enjoy the challenges presented to them academically just as I did.

My approach to teaching is structured and exam-focused, but also to make maths simple, clear and enjoyable. I don’t just reteach out of a textbook, I teach students how to think when faced with questions. Every lesson is personalised, I work with students to assess strengths, identify gaps and build confidence with exam practice. I use real past papers, exam technique training along with my own model solutions to walk students through how to think when faced with exam questions. Lesson times are flexible. Able to assist with all topics in year 12 A level maths, GCSE maths and Level 2 AQA Further maths.
