About Andres
Hey! My name is Andres Briceno. I'm a 17-year-old, year 11 student from St Ignatius' College, with an average grade of 95% (A+). I absolutely love tennis, soccer, running, and I want to study at the University of Adelaide in 2023 to become a doctor. I really love helping people, and this is mainly why I want to teach students like yourselves, to help you all achieve success with your studies, whether that be in Maths or English, for example.
I'm a happy, outgoing, positive, and very hard-working person, and I want to make sure our lessons are meaningful and that they are beneficial for you. I know I'd be a great tutor for you, as my easy-going yet professional nature would let you enjoy our lessons, whilst also allowing yourself to focus on success in your studies.
Aside from teaching and helping you learn with whatever topics you're doing, I'd also love to give you advice on time management and how to become more organised in your day-to-day life.
Fun fact about me: I'm fluent in English, Spanish, and I'm striving towards becoming fluent in Italian too :)

Qualifications-Year 11 Student from St Ignatius' College (95% GPA)
I teach Maths to students from reception to year 8/9 (ages 5 to 15)
I teach English to students from reception to year 11 (ages 5 to 17)
A typical lesson lasts 45, 60 or 90 minutes, and can be done from the comfort of the student's own home. Can be on a weekly basis, or whatever is most convenient for the student.
I'm proud of the fact that I'm outgoing and fun to be with, however I'm also proud that I'm simultaneously able to remain professional and organised when assisting students with their studies.
For the lessons, I'd begin by gauging their level of understanding and proficiency of the topic, whether that be Maths or English. From there, I'd determine what we need to practise/work on (based on their weaker areas), or whether we simply need to continue to revise/reinforce the important concepts and ideas of what they're learning.
I think it's necessary to consider the student's learning style (e.g. verbal, physical), as everyone learns differently. I'd also love to improve the student's study skills, to help them become more independent and efficient with their learning - areas of focus could involve time management and overall organisation.
