About Yong Zhi
Hi, I'm Chen Yong Zhi, and I wasn't always the best at Mathematics. In fact, I used to struggle with it—until I met a teacher who truly changed the way I saw the subject. With patience, kindness, and encouragement, he helped me build my confidence and eventually sparked a genuine love for learning Math. Inspired by that experience, I now strive to be that kind of teacher for my students. My goal is not just to teach, but to help students enjoy learning. I focus on understanding each child’s learning style, identifying their strengths and challenges, and guiding them in a way that builds both skill and confidence. I believe that with the right support, every child can excel in Math, and even come to love it.

I believe in practicing patience, especially with primary school children, to help build their confidence and foster a genuine enjoyment for learning. Mathematics should not feel like a chore, but rather a subject that is engaging and rewarding.
