About Lily
My name is Lily, and I'm a year 13 at Otago Girls. I love school, especially math and science, and this year I am aiming for Aggregate or Dux at my own school. I love to volunteer, debate, dance and do public speaking and try to get involved with as many things as I can. I have achieved Excellence endorsements for Level 1 and 2 with excellence course endorsements. I have also achieved academic excellence for level 2 (In top 10 within my year group at school.) and have received 2 academic blues. I was also able to get into the NZ Biology tutorial program for 2024-2025. I love teaching students as I get to see their progress and help them achieve their goals. My goal is to adapt to your learning style to help you achieve greatness.

My lessons often look like getting to know your goals and strengths and using those to strengthen your weaknesses. For example, if you're excellent at reading and analyzing, then we work on using those skills to break down science questions. I also put emphasis on the student's learning style, as it is important for progress. The length of my lessons is probably an hour, although I can be flexible with this. I have worked as a peer tutor at my school, focusing on getting students from NA and A's to their own personal goals. My lessons are for students from primary to NCEA level 2 as I have tutored kids of all levels.
