About Quinn
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MPhys degree. My passion lies in exploring the physical principles that govern living systems. I specialise in biophysics, helping students understand how physics applies to biology.
I guide students through topics like molecular motors, membrane transport, nerve impulses, and biomechanics. I work closely with biology students, pre-med students, and anyone curious about the physical underpinnings of life. My teaching emphasises clarity, breaking complex phenomena into simple, intuitive steps.
I focus on connecting theory with real-world biological processes. Experiments and examples bring abstract ideas to life. I provide consistent feedback and encourage critical thinking to deepen understanding.

My teaching approach in Physics focuses on building a deep and clear understanding of core principles. I emphasise subjects like thermodynamics, heat transfer, states of matter, gas laws, and energy systems. Lessons are systematic and easy to follow, breaking down complex macroscopic behaviours into simple, manageable concepts. I integrate practical examples and experiments to make abstract ideas tangible.
Using gadgets and hands-on demonstrations, I encourage students to explore concepts actively and develop curiosity. I provide consistent feedback, helping students identify their strengths and areas to improve. Assignments and problem-solving exercises are tailored to reinforce learning.
I focus on both conceptual clarity and application, ensuring students can tackle exam questions confidently. By connecting theory to real-world phenomena, I help students see the relevance of what they learn. Each session is structured but flexible, adapting to each student’s pace. Together, we build a strong foundation in energy, heat, and matter. My goal is to support students in excelling academically and understanding Physics with confidence.
