About Lois
Math is a language of logic. I have spent 4 years refining my ability to teach algebra and trigonometry to everyone from struggling teens to working professionals. My role as a Doctor of Medicine Candidate means I rely heavily on mental math and number sense to process complex information under pressure.
Balancing the demands of medical school has taught me that stats and probability are not just academic hurdles, but tools for daily decision making. I enjoy seeing the exact moment when a difficult word problem finally clicks for a student. My systematic approach ensures we cover geometry and conceptual learning without skipping the basics.
I have found that structured practice is the only way to retain these skills over the long term. Providing clarity to my students is the most rewarding part of this journey.

Stumbling through word problems is frustrating, so we start by isolating the variables before doing any actual calculation. Most students struggle because they try to memorize steps rather than understanding the underlying arithmetic.
We work through trigonometry and statistics using a clean, step by step method. I provide weekly practice worksheets with complete solutions so you can audit your progress independently.
My approach is entirely exam focused, reflecting the intensity of my own medical studies. I prioritize building your speed in mental math to help you handle SAT or ACT requirements with ease.
