About Sebastian

Having spent 13 years in the classroom, I rely on a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics to help students see past the confusion of algebra and calculus. My approach avoids rote memorization in favor of deep conceptual learning.
Whether you are tackling SAT or ACT math prep, trigonometry, or challenging word problems, I provide the structure you need to succeed. Vedic math techniques and competition math prep are also available for those wanting to broaden their perspective. Working with students across NCEA Levels 1 to 3 and University Entrance has shown me that clarity comes from a steady, systematic method. Picture the moment a difficult equation suddenly aligns and makes perfect sense during our 10 minute focused problem solving segment. Drawing from my Master of Science in Applied Mathematics, I structure sessions to ensure that 8 concepts are reinforced through rigorous worked examples until the method becomes second nature.
