About Travis

Who am I? My educational background: 21 years Active Duty Air Force Officer B.S. in Civil Engineering and Political Science M.S. in Environmental Engineering M.A. in International Relations and Contemporary Warfare I love learning and mentoring others to be the best person they can be.

About the lesson

Political Science and Civics is vital for nations to formulate governments. These topics have been of my vital interest since I was 12 years old coming from Springfield, Illinois (the home of Abraham Lincoln). I have a strong interest not only in the theories but the practical usage of political science.
.
I am your non-typical instructor (with 18 years of experience) that utilizes humor and critical thinking to provide a framework to understand these topics. Learning is communicating and I adapt my lesson plans to help the student learn on their terms.
