About Kelsey
I began my yoga practice with the main goal of desiring balance. Struggling with mental illness & trauma, I needed something more holistic in my wellness journey. From there, it became a passion to learn more, to understand my own body more, to eventually learn to help others through their own similar challenges.
Four years ago, I also stumbled upon Armored Combat. Competing in such an aggressive, MMA centric sport has also helped me find that much desired balance. And utilizing my knowledge and skills in both yoga and fighting has been nothing but transformative for my mental health and overall well being. I love working with people and learning from them just as much as I am able to teach them.

About the lesson

I focus primarily on vinyasa flow and restorative for athletes. I typical lesson does not exceed one hour and I am comfortable with both in person & remote teaching, as well as single student or group settings.
As an armored combatant myself, I am able to relate to the athletic aspect of recovery and specific needs that come with that.
I have worked with beginner and intermediate students from a wide background, with classes ranging from vinyasa, to restorative, to hatha. I am deeply passionate about preserving safe spaces for all, and for helping each student determine and achieve their goals.
