About Flora
I am a final year Zoology student studying at the University of Leeds. I have a strong passion for teaching, with previous experience of working in a primary school and nursery. Within these roles, I was involved in planning and delivering lessons to children of varying ages. I truly appreciate the importance in having a great teacher; my experiences with passionate and inspiring teachers have helped me excel both at school and at university.

I teach children at primary and secondary school level. My teaching method is based relating the lesson to everyday life, aiming to give students their own interest in the topic and help them see the value in what they are learning; I believe it is important for students to take ownership in their learning. Within my lesson plans, I make sure that I am aware of my students' preferred learning styles so that I can tailor their lessons accordingly. I also structure my lessons with a mixture of content and activities, working to keep students engaged and productive for the entire session.
