About Ubaid
Hi, I'm Ubaid — a Glasgow-based finance professional and qualified engineer with a first-class degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and an ACA accounting qualification.
I've worked across some demanding environments, from nuclear power plants to global investment banking at Barclays, but my passion for teaching goes back a long way — I've formally mentored graduates and junior colleagues throughout my career, and I've always found real satisfaction in helping someone click with a subject that felt out of reach.
I offer tutoring in Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Finance at GCSE, National 5, Higher and A-Level, and my approach is straightforward: I meet students where they are, build genuine understanding rather than exam technique alone, and make sure every session is time well spent.

I am comfortable with both short and long tuition sessions in a variety of subjects both within and outwith the Scottish education system.
