About Rose
My name is Rose, a second year medical student at Cambridge. I am passionate about the sciences, having taken biology, chemistry and physics at A level and thoroughly enjoying my studies at university.
I would love to share my skills in this area by tutoring, something I believe I am well equipped for, due not only to my academic experience but also in relating to people in this context.
My sister is a professional tutor in the sciences, having studied them at Cambridge, and helped me in preparation for both my A levels and GCSEs, so I am very aware of the importance of one on one help for some pupils and the difference it can make, a service I would thoroughly enjoy providing.
In addition to science I love music and sport, playing piano, harp, netball and hockey in my free time.

Having achieved all A*s at GCSE level and A level, and subsequently securing a place to studying medicine at Cambridge, I posses the skills necessary to tutor the sciences from an academic perspective. I am comfortable with the material and have a good knowledge of the curriculum. Having sat my GCSE exams fairly recently I know what to expect from them and how to effectively prepare. In addition, I possess good people skills and, having two young nephews, have a good knowledge of communicating and explaining concepts to people younger than myself. I also believe I can do this in an engaging way, having helped my peers in the sciences when we were preparing for our exams.
