About Tighearnan

I am a 3rd-level math student in University of Galway who is passionate about helping others succeed in math. I understand that math can be a challenging subject for many students, but I believe that with the right approach and guidance, anyone can master it. That's why I want to be a math tutor. I want to share my knowledge and experience with others and help them achieve their full potential in math.
Whether you're struggling or looking to excel in math, I am here to help. I am able to teach any level up to leaving cert and I am flexible with the timing of the lessons to fit your schedule. My goal is to make math easy and enjoyable for you.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is centered around the idea of "learning by doing." I believe that the best way for students to understand and retain math concepts is through hands-on practice and examples. In my lessons, I provide plenty of interactive exercises and examples that help students to actively engage with the material and solidify their understanding. I adapt my teaching style to the student's needs and learning style to make sure that they can grasp the concepts easily.

Typically, a lesson lasts for one or two hours, although this can be adjusted to suit the student's schedule.

I am a 3rd level math student with experience teaching a variety of math topics, including applied math. I have achieved an impressive 80% H1 and H2 rate with a class of applied math students. I am able to teach any level up to leaving cert.

My lessons are for students of all levels and ages who want to improve their math skills. Whether you're struggling or looking to excel in the subject, I am ready to help you.
