About Wilson
Hello! My name is Wilson, and I am a Secondary Teaching student at the Australian Catholic University (ACU). As someone who uses English every day as both a learner and a teacher, I understand the challenges of learning a second language — especially when you are living, studying, or working in a new country. This personal experience helps me connect with my students and teach English in a way that is simple, practical, and encouraging. I have experience supporting ESL learners of different ages, including children from multilingual families, adult migrants, and international students who want to improve their everyday communication. I always take a patient, friendly, and step-by-step approach, focusing on building confidence first so students feel comfortable speaking and practicing English during lessons. Typical Lesson Length:
Standard lessons are 60 minutes, with longer sessions (75–90 minutes) available for students who want more speaking practice or structured learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
I am a Secondary Teaching student at ACU with experience supporting ESL learners of different ages and language backgrounds. My teaching approach combines formal training in education with patient, friendly guidance. I understand the challenges of learning a second language and always work to make lessons warm, accessible, and meaningful. Many of my students have seen strong improvements in fluency, pronunciation, and confidence through consistent practice.
