About Jakob
Hi there! I'm a physics enthusiast who loves helping students tackle complex concepts in a clear and engaging way. I'm a recent aerospace engineering graduate. I've spent five summers tree planting in BC, launched a rocket at the Spaceport America Cup, founded two startups, and enjoy coding AI in my free time. I'm also super passionate about space exploration and a diehard Chiefs fan! I'm excited to guide you through physics with energy and clarity. Let's get you an A+.

My tutoring approach is student focused, and I try to be as engaging as possible. Firstly I give myself a solid refresh of whatever it is the students need help with, making sure I understand it fully enough so I can explain it simply. Then I give a quick overview of the topic, some of the basic principles involved, then we dive into some questions! (This is where the real learning happens!). I will help them solve questions 1 by 1, to help them build a solid understanding of the equations and physics behind each problem. The more questions we do, the better. I will also make some helpful formula sheets, and share the notes we take so you can reference them on your own time. Whether you're tackling middle-school algebra or university-level physics, lessons are fun, challenging, and tailored for you. I'm here to ensure you're genuinely learning, staying curious, and continually progressing!
