About Louis
Hello! I’m Louis, an aviation enthusiast currently pursuing a BEng in Aeronautics & Astronautics at the University of Southampton, also a holder of Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. I’ve been tutoring IGCSE Physics since 2023, guiding my students from uncertainty to confidence and helping a B-grade student achieve consistent A's in Physics. I like breaking down complex concepts into simple, engaging lessons, using annotated images and real-world examples to make learning feel fun, not like a chore. I’m patient and adapt every session to each student’s pace and goals. I teach learners who are preparing for IGCSE exams and seek to build solid foundations. Teaching allows me to share my passion for science and empower students to reach their full potential. Every breakthrough they make inspires me just as much as it inspires them.

Teaching Technique:
1. Each session begins by setting clear objectives and creating a relaxed, interactive atmosphere through rapport.
2. Introduce the topic with engaging questions and real-world examples to ease understanding.
3. Reinforce learning by,
○ Using quizzes and flashcards.
○ Have students attempt practice questions, then review together through discussion.
4. The depth and pace of lessons are adjusted to match the student's pace of learning; usually slowing down for tougher topics and speeding through familiar materials.
Lesson Length:
90–120 minutes; consisting of time for recap, new material, practice, and Q&A.
Target Students:
○ IGCSE students
○ Aged 15-17
Qualifications & Experience:
○ BEng (Hons) Aeronautics & Astronautics from the University of Southampton
○ Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Nilai University
○ One-to-one IGCSE Physics tutor since 2023
○ Former part-time tutor for primary school students.
