About Alejandra

Hello! Are you interested in learning how to draw and develop your artistic skills? My name is Alejandra, and I would love to be your instructor. With a structured and enjoyable approach, I'll guide you through the fundamentals of drawing and help you discover and refine your own artistic style. Together, we'll explore drawing techniques, perspective, shading, and much more. Whether you're an absolute beginner or an aspiring artist, I invite you to join my classes and embark on an exciting creative journey! About the lesson

Week 1-2: Drawing Fundamentals
Introduction to drawing materials (pencils, paper, erasers, etc.).
Basic strokes: straight lines, curves, and gestural lines.
Observation exercises and drawing simple objects.
Week 3-4: Proportion and Basic Anatomy
Study of proportions and measurements.
Drawing basic shapes from different angles.
Introduction to human and animal anatomy.
Week 5-6: Perspective and Composition
Basic perspective concepts: one-point perspective, two-point perspective.
Composition and framing: rule of thirds, focal point.
Drawing landscapes and urban scenes.
Week 7-8: Textures and Shading
Shading techniques: hatching, blending, stippling.
Drawing different textures: wood, metal, fabric, skin, etc.
Experimenting with different types of pencils and blending techniques.
Week 9-10: Style and Personal Expression
Exploration of artistic styles: realism, impressionism, caricature, etc.
Developing a personal style through experimentation and practice.
Creative interpretation of themes and concepts.
Week 11-12: Critique and Review
Review of previous works and critical analysis.
Feedback from peers and/or instructor.
Identification of areas for improvement and setting future goals.
Week 13-14: Final Project and Reflection
Development of a final project integrating learned concepts.
Presentation and discussion of the project with peers and/or instructor.
