As a tutor, I employ a student-centered teaching methodology that focuses on engaging and empowering learners. I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students can actively participate in their own learning journey.
A typical lesson plan begins with a brief review of previous concepts to ensure comprehension and build connections. Then, I introduce new material using a step-by-step approach, breaking down complex topics into manageable parts. Throughout the lesson, I incorporate interactive discussions, guided practice, and problem-solving exercises to reinforce learning. I encourage students to actively participate, ask questions, and apply their knowledge in different scenarios.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my background as an architect. This unique perspective allows me to provide practical applications of mathematical concepts in the field of architecture, making the subject more engaging and relevant to students. I emphasize the importance of critical thinking, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving skills, which are integral to both mathematics and architecture.
My lessons are designed for students from kindergarten to middle school.
