About Erin
Hello, since gaining a 1st class degree in Architecture from the University of Edinburgh, I have been gathering lots of teaching experience. I worked at a private music school for a year in their music department, have taught architecture in China, and have been an assistant on summer schools in England.
I love learning and inspiring a love of learning in others! Self-motivation is an invaluable key to success in education, and enjoying learning is an important goal in my tuition sessions. In my spare time, I am an ambassador for the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, helping young people at their membership auditions, and I play music. I have Grade 8 in piano and bassoon, and am enrolled on a Masters course for actor-musicianship at a Drama Conservatoire next year.
I believe teaching should always be with patience, fun, and placed in context of the real world so learners understand why it is important, and I very much look forward to lessons with my students. I also value creating a friendly, optimistic atmosphere that builds up confidence.
